Shipping & returns
Armor is heavy and awkward. Here is exactly how it reaches you, and what happens if something is not right.
Lead times
Every order is made to order. Current build lead time is 3 weeks from the date your deposit clears, plus 3–7 business days in transit. If a build runs long, we tell you before the date passes, not after.
Freight and ground
Bumpers, rock sliders and roof racks ship LTL freight on a pallet to all fifty states. Skid plates and small hardware ship ground. Freight is quoted with your build to your exact ZIP and never added afterward.
Free freight over $1,500
Orders over $1,500 ship freight-free to the lower 48, commercial or residential. Alaska, Hawaii and remote or limited-access addresses are quoted individually.
Delivery and inspection
Freight arrives curbside on a liftgate truck and the carrier calls to schedule. Inspect the crate before you sign: note any damage on the bill of lading and photograph it. That protects your claim and ours. Email photos to info@heavypauto.com the same day.
Returns
Uninstalled, unmarked parts in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund less return freight and a 15% restocking fee. Contact us for a return authorization before shipping anything back.
Non-returnable items
Custom and one-off fabrication, custom powder coat colors and any part that has been installed, drilled, cut or trail-used is non-returnable. Defects are handled under the warranty rather than as returns.
Cancellations
An order may be cancelled for a full deposit refund any time before cutting begins on your parts. After cutting, the deposit covers material and shop time already committed.
